About Project

Warehouse Studios is a full-service recording studio loaded with new and vintage gear. We are a collective of Jacksonville based indie bands, and work with Crushed Black Productions to create live, in-studio performance videos. We are looking to expand to mobile recording and release a series of compilation cds showcasing the talent of the Jacksonville music scene.

Project Showcase Proposal

Warehouse Studios will be hosting an array of bands and solo artists on the Warehouse Studios Tent. The Warehouse Tent will be a small enclosure covered in a vibrant tapestry of records and cassette tapes that will be available for various creators to showcase their projects. Throughout the festival we will be screening music videos, mini documentaries, and letting musicians play short, quiet sets that we will record for them at no cost. What we need is a 8x12 (or 10x10) space preferably in Hemming Plaza with access to electricity. We plan on making this an interactive and fun experience that will become a staple of future One Spark Festivals. View the Powerpoint at the top left of the page for more information on our history, previous releases, and One Spark plans.

Project Questions

What city is your project based out of?

Jacksonville

What sets your Project apart from what is currently available?

We have a large live room to record bands while performing or rehearsing live, as opposed to separately tracking each instrument and mixing them together; we are able to track the band all at the same time, as they are live. We also rent practice space, so the bands involved with Warehouse Studios truly become a family.

Why are you and your team the best people on the planet to handle this project?

We have been working together as a collective of artists and musicians for many years and support each others talents and interests. We acknowledge each others strengths and work collaboratively toward releasing the best sound and products to represent the Jacksonville music scene.
