Grandpa's Cough Medicine

Jacksonville-based outlaw bluegrass band, Grandpa's Cough Medicine, to make third full-length album their best yet!

Funding Goal

Seeking

$12,000

Grandpa's Cough Medicine has been completely self-funded to date, including two full-length albums and extensive touring. We recorded our second CD, "The Murder Chord," at Slack Key Studio in Nashville, TN with Grammy award-winning engineer/producer Randy Kohrs. We want to further develop this musical relationship, and ensure our next recording is of equal or better quality than the last. All funding will go towards the cost of recording, mixing, mastering, printing and releasing our new CD.

Project Questions

What city is your project based out of?

Jacksonville, FL

What sets your Project apart from what is currently available?

We have spent the last six years cultivating our original brand of "outlaw bluegrass." We are proud to represent Jacksonville as one of its only homegrown regional/national bluegrass acts. We also only record our own songs, which is rare in the bluegrass world.

Why are you and your team the best people on the planet to handle this project?

This is an original musical project to which we are inextricably linked.
