Clash Royale Card Upgrade Costs And How To Change It?

Clash Royale Card Upgrade Costs

The only way to get troops, spells, and buildings onto the battlefield is to use cards. Deploying cards costs Elixir, which is earned over the course of the battle. Cards are primarily gained through purchasing them in the Shop with Gold or Gems, or by finding them in Chests.

How Cards May Be Obtained?

Cards can also be obtained via trading or completing requests made by clan members. Obtaining duplicate cards will fill up an upgrade metre.

You can upgrade the card to Gold once the metre is full. Every level, all health and damage statistics are boosted by about 10%.

The spawned troop level of cards that can spawn soldiers, such as the Goblin Hut and Graveyard, will be increased by 1 per level.

Different Types of Cards in Clash Royale!

Troops, spells, and buildings are the three main categories of cards. With the exception of The Log, Barbarian Barrel, and Royal Delivery, spells are transitory and can be cast anywhere on the battlefield, but buildings (which are immobile and degrade over time) and troops (which can move) can only be created on the player’s territory (with the exception of the Miner and Goblin Drill).

There are also five-card rarities:

  • Common (grey or pale blue),
  • Rare (orange),
  • Epic (purple),
  • Legendary (rainbow gradient), and
  • Champion (red) (signified by a bright yellow).

How Champion Cards are Used?

All Champion cards are troops, and when they are deployed, an ability symbol appears on the player’s screen on the right side. The player can tap the icon at any time to unleash their Champion’s special ability.

A particular amount of Elixir is required to activate an ability. The abilities follow the server’s deployment delay of one second. After the duration of an ability has expired, it will enter a cooldown period, preventing it from being used for a period of time. If the player’s Champion dies, the cooldown will be reset immediately.

Upgrading Costs of Cards in Clash Royale

To improve your cards in Clash Royale, you must obtain a particular amount of them. All of their HP and damage values are enhanced by around 10% per level after upgrading.

After upgrading your cards, you will receive a specific amount of XP.

For instance, if an upgrade costs 2 cards but you already have 22, you will still have 20 cards after the upgrade. You are not going to lose any cards. There are now 54 cards available in the game.

Finally!

On cards that have not yet been updated, the prices will only apply to these cards. This means that if players have paid extra gold to upgrade cards in the past, they will not be refunded in the future. Once the new level is unlocked, maximum level cards will no longer have any material progress for level 14. Cards from level 12 and below that haven’t been upgraded will likely have an excess of cards as a result of the changes to card upgrade costs.
