Medical bills are usually in bulky quantities. Hospital expenditures can be quite expensive. Transporting the patients is also a risky business, ambulance facilities are lifesaving but also require a hefty amount.

On top of the stress of a loved one’s life, added pressure of bills and payments can be time-consuming and bothersome. Traditional payment styles don’t meet the needs of an everyday man.

What Is Thbillpay And What Does It Do?

By creating an online billing platform called ‘Thbillpay,’ Team Health’s Patient Billing Service Centre has come to people’s rescue.

You can now direct all your attention to your loved ones and leave the entire math to Thbillpay. It’s a simple and secure way to pay your medical and hospital fees directly or through insurance claims.

It allows consumers to monitor their transactions from anywhere at any time, through a simple process using your mobile phone. It’s a user-friendly platform that’s been painstakingly designed to fulfill the needs of regular people.

Explaining How It Works?

Thbillpay.com takes transactions on behalf of hospitals and healthcare services. Fees are collected on account of emergency doctors and clinics via Thbillpay. The emergency care provider or the hospital must be a client of this network. So, before the patient is admitted, make sure you choose a medical care provider or hospital cautiously to avoid any mishaps

Thebillpay provides you with three payment alternatives that you can use as you wish.

  • Payments by e-checks
  • credit cards
  • and insurance premiums

For each of the three processes, there are a few common characteristics.

Thbillpay Prerequisites

  • The 14-digit account number and the Health Team Account. Your account number can be located on your doctor’s or medical care provider’s statement.
  • The SSN’s patient number (used for recovering your user account number)
  • Details regarding the bank; such as the account name, account type, etc.
  • Patient-client relationship
  • Location, email address, and phone number, and other general information.

How Do You Receive Your Team Health User Account Number?

If your user account number isn’t with you, you can recover it very easily. There are three ways to figure out how much money is in your user account.

  • User account numbers are recorded in the medical service provider’s or hospital’s statement.
  • If you have any questions about your user account number, contact your healthcare provider or hospital.
  • You can also reach the National Patient Care Center at 1-888-952-6722, which is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET.
  • One alternative is to go to the official site www.thbillpay.com and search for assistance there.
  • Pick ‘Account’ from the menu icon in the top right corner of the page and complete the instructions carefully. This will necessitate the use of the patient’s SSN. This number will be available at your medical care provider or hospital

Steps To Pay Your Bills

Follow these steps to pay your bills:

  • Go to thbillpay.com website
  • Here’s where you’ll find the e-check area. To make a payment, search for the “Make Payment” section. The payment by e-check tab will be opened.
  • Fill in all of the required information, including your 14-digit code.
  • Select “Submit” from the drop-down menu.
  • Before you do it, be sure your bank account is in good standing. Ensure whether that the amount is adequate to cover the cost of the new hospital or medical bill?

Payment By Electronic Checks (E-Checks)

  1. When you choose ‘Pay by E-checks,’ the server will ask for your user account information.
  2. Click ‘Submit’ after entering your 14-digit user account number.
  3. For this payment option, you’ll need a healthy bank account balance. Make certain you have enough money.
  4. They’ll then ask for your account information. It’s perfectly safe, so don’t be concerned. Fill out the form and pay using your bank account.

Payment By Credit Card

  1. By choosing this payment method, you must ensure your credit card limitations are sufficient. If you overuse your credit card, dealing with your hospital/medical service provider/credit card company will be a bother
  2. Select ‘Pay by Credit Card’ after you’ve double-checked that you’re not above the limit. Like the E-check option, the page will redirect and ask for your 14-digit account number.
  3. The server will request your credit card information, including your credit card number, three-digit CVV number (found on the back of your credit card), name on card, card type (Visa, Mastercard, etc), and card expiration date.
  4. Pay the bill after carefully entering the information. It’s very much like making a payment on an online shopping website.

Insurance-Based Payment:

  1. This payment method will necessitate a thorough understanding of your insurance, its terms, and restrictions.
  2. After selecting ‘Provide Insurance Information,’ the server will need your 14-digit user account number and information about the insurance you have
  3. To transfer the bills to the insurer, click the appropriate toggle switch.
